Fantastic! But I miss the older version. Been living near there for over 24 years. It never ceases to amaze.
This SNA is located adjacent to and on the north side of the Lake LaSalle State Recreation area. It is a unique habitat island of restored native prairie that phases into a riparian forest. There is a new well-marked self guided nature trail, which ends at a scenic overlook of the LaSalle Creek confluence with the Mississippi River
Beautiful Area with picnic shelter, restrooms, tables and grills... overlooks the lake.
