Beautiful place to hang out and swim. We come every year and Stay at The Black Bear cabin. Great places to fish in the area also. Caught almost 100 Sunfish.

LaSalle Lake s the second deepest lake within Minnesota, and on of the most scenic and unspoiled! As one of the newest state parks, it is also a work in progress, but has an extensive new trail system, new fishing docks, a well equipped campground, and really beautiful cabins. A good option for those who would like a quieter more remote location than Itasca, yet only 15 minutes drive to either Itasca or Bemidji

New buildings and beautiful scenery. Very long parking pads in campground for RVs, but not a good tents or those who want a non-electric option. No beach but there is a boat and canoe launch.

Very nice state park!
